Ian Meredith is an independent arbitrator. With almost four decades of experience in dispute resolution, Ian brings deep legal expertise and a pragmatic, commercial approach to resolving disputes efficiently and fairly.
He is a CEDR Accredited Mediator, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He sits on the UK Arbitration and ADR Committee, serves as UK delegate to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR and he is a member of the User Council of the LCIA. He served as a member of the ICC Task Force on Trusts in Arbitration and is currently serving as a member of the ICC Task Force on Corruption in Arbitration.
He has been ranked in Lexology Index (formerly WWL) and Legal 500 as a Leading practitioner in International Arbitration and has published and spoken widely across his near four decade career in international dispute resolution.
He continues to act as counsel for longstanding clients in connection with insurance coverage disputes but otherwise accepts appointments only as arbitrator.
